As I'll be my dog's groomer, i'll review my vet.
I had to find him in an emergency - I had my dog for less tan a mnth and she was very sick - bloody diarrheea for 3 days.
East Village vet was refered to me by a friend - and I shall stay friends - as he very likely saved his life then.
An interesting combination of surgeon/homeopath - his remedies are both traditional and homeopathic. The doctor himself looks like hemingway - you'd expect him to shoot an animal rather than care for him.
But he has an animal hospital in the building, rescues cats and clearly likes animals more than people. he's extremely laconic and displeased when people talk at all or ask questions. But he was good for my dog, so I am sticking with him.
